What if while you are shopping you could bookmark stuff you like, from food to cloth, electronics to crafts.
How will real life social bookmarking be possible?

Our mobile phones can read barcodes. Today these barcodes are the ID of products in a store, what if every barcode would also have a url?

Think of it, this is logical, simple & has thousands of other uses & applications.

Ok so I started my very own twitter competition, it's not really a competition, but more a give away, then I thought to myself, wonder if I can find all the competitions and giveaways that are going on right now in Twitter (Or any other social media site).

Looked for such a directory, but couldn't find one.

This is another idea about Twitter's trending topics.

Have you encountered Twitters who tweet trending topics without any logic? They just tweet it to get some hits, maybe win a follower or two.

Well there should be a meter that tells about twitter users that have a high rating of twitting terms that are in the trending topics.

I would call them "Twore" (Twitter whore), a bit harsh I know, couldn't think of a better term (sorry if you are offended).

Anyone who uses Twitter knows about the trending topics, I use them from time to time, but I must say that I'm more interested in what the people I follow and talk to are tweeting about.

This is an idea for feature I'd like to have, it's similar to trending topics, but just to the people one follows.
This way you can see what the whole Twittervesre is talking about, but you can also see what your small piece of the twtverse (Twittervesre is to long) is talking about.

Custom link shortening

Do you know (and use) the link shortening services?

Bit.ly, TinyUrl, Is.gd, ow.ly, su.pr and the rest of the bunch?
Well guess what they can offer better service& make some money and they don't realize it.
I'll share my idea, you guys spread it… :-)

Let's say I have a twitter account and I use bit.ly, obviously I want to get the maximum exposure to tweets. I write a wonderful, full of great content and keywords article in my site, give it great headers, and a URL with the keywords in it.

What is this good for?

Let's say you are on twitter and you want to remember some idea you have, just tweet: "#_note shoes that deify gravity".

Add Twitter to your Gmail account

Now you can have your mails, chat, calendars and twitter in the same place, there's a new feature from Google labs that allows you to install Twitter into your Gmail account, anyone that has Gmail can do it.
