Ok this is a very simple idea, like all simple ideas it's much easier said then done…
Let's say you have a blog about social media marketing & you posted a how-to guide on YouTube, as far as I know today Google doesn't know to associate the content from your YouTube user to the site that created it, meaning that Google won't credit you with any "points" for this post.
As I see it if you created a how-to guide it means you must know your way around the subject of the guide & you might have good info & content on your site / blog, but Google doesn't associate your video to your site, they are two completely different things.
Which in reality is far from the truth, the video is an integral part of your sites content your knowledge.
What do I suggest?
YouTube will allow users to associate there videos to a specific site / blog, meaning the site Google will give the site some credit for the video expertise-wise.
Why should they do such a stupid thing?
Let's say YouTube would charge 0.25$ to 1$ from anyone that wants to associate a video to a site – PPP (Pay Per Post) or a user could pay a one time or monthly fee to get all his videos associated to a certain site.
I'm still not sure if this is a stupid idea or a good one, but I decided to post it anyway.
